Generating Configuration, Stylesheet, and Catalog Files for a DTD
You can automatically generate or update the following configuration, stylesheet, and catalog files associated with your DTD:
Stylesheet — Creates a stylesheet or overwrites an existing one if changes to the DTD affect the format.
DCF — Creates a .dcf file or overwrites the existing one if one already exists.
Catalog — Creates or overwrites the document type catalog file that stores the public IDs and paths to the files for those public IDs
To automatically generate files associated with your DTD:
1. Open Arbortext Architect.
2. Choose File > Open.
3. Locate the directory in which the document type for which you want to generate files is saved, and then click Select.
4. Choose Generate > Generate Document.
5. Select the files you want to generate or update from the Generate Document dialog box.
6. Choose additional settings from the data options list.
7. Click OK.
8. If you're generating files that already exist for this DTD, you will receive messages that indicate that the files will be overwritten. Click Yes if you want to create a new file that overwrites the existing file. Click No if you do not want to create a new file.
