Ensuring Valid Headers
Make sure the instance file has a valid SGML header structure. Three examples of valid headers are listed below:
<!DOCTYPE doctypename PUBLIC "public id string" [
<!-- OPTIONAL PRIVATE DECLARATIONS -- >
<!ENTITY entname entity definition or reference >
....
]>
<top_level_tag>...
<!DOCTYPE doctypename [
<!-- OPTIONAL PRIVATE DECLARATIONS -- >
<!ENTITY entname entity definition or reference >
....
]>
<top_level_tag>...
<!DOCTYPE doctypename SYSTEM "system full pathname" [
<!-- OPTIONAL PRIVATE DECLARATIONS -- >
<!ENTITY entname entity definition or reference >
....
]>
<top_level_tag>...
Except for the last example (system identifier), the document type must have a matching entry in a catalog file in order to be found by Arbortext Editor.
