Copying the Document Instance
Copy the document instance file, if one already exists, to a suitable location on the target machine. This location could be in the user's working directory (by default, this is in the Arbortextusr file).
If the document instance file is transferred from an earlier version Arbortext Architect directory (-da directory), then the instance is found in the doctype subdirectory as a test file, with a naming convention similar to doctype_test.sgml.

Document types ported from earlier UNIX releases have a different subdirectory structure than those on Windows. Template files and Sample files are normally in their own subdirectories whereas they are not on a Windows or a post 6.0 UNIX system.
