When started, Arbortext Editor opens in the default working directory and it saves documents to this directory when no document path is given. The default working directory is specified in the Arbortext Editor shortcut's Start in field on the Shortcut tab in the Properties dialog box. If you want to change your working directory, specify a new path in the Start in field.
