APTTFMSCALINGFILE — Specifying Alternate Scaling Configuration File
To make all CJK fonts appear the same size as text displayed in another alphabet, a configuration file is used to specify font scaling parameters for text for a given language, font family, weight, and posture.
This configuration file is named tfmscaling.cf, and is located in Arbortext-path\fonts. You will find more detailed instructions in the comments in this distributed file.
If you want to make a custom tfmscaling.cf file automatically available, use the Arbortext-path\custom\lib directory to load it automatically upon startup (avoiding the need to set an environment variable). If you create a custom tfmscaling.cf file for a particular locale, you can put it the appropriate subdirectory of Arbortext-path\custom\lib\locale.
