Thai support
Arbortext Editor supports the following characteristics of the Thai language:
Combined characters
Arbortext Editor displays the correct Thai character clusters based on their associated diacritics. Character clusters are displayed as a single character and treated as a single character when you use the arrow keys to move the cursor over the character. However, how delete operations function depends on the location of the cursor relative to the character cluster. If the cursor is to the left of the character cluster, pressing the delete key removes the entire character cluster. If the cursor is to the right of the character cluster, pressing the backspace key removes a single character from the character cluster.
Word breaking
While Thai does not have white space between words, Arbortext Editor detects the word breaks in Thai script. Line breaking, Tools > Word Count, and similar operations dependent on word boundaries work correctly in the Thai locale.
