DTDs for bilingual documents
By bilingual documents, we mean documents whose complete contents exist in two different languages in the same document instance. There are two approaches to developing a DTD for bilingual documents:
• Declare a single language element in the DTD with an attribute to specify language
• Declare two separate elements in the DTD, one for each of the two languages
We use English and French as the languages in our examples.
