Import Workbench Configuration Dialog Box
The Import Workbench Configuration dialog box shows characteristics of the Arbortext Import configuration and lets you specify the location of the Arbortext Import Repository.
When choosing File > Import, the Open Import Project and New Import Project menu choices are not available until you perform a first-time initialization of Arbortext Import by clicking on Update on this dialog box.
The dialog box has the following controls.
HOME Path — The value to which the Windows HOME environment variable is set. If this variable is set to a network location, APTIMPORTEXPORTHOME must be set to a local directory for the Open Import Project and New Import Project menu choices to be available.
APTIMPORTEXPORTHOME environment variable — The value to which the APTIMPORTEXPORTHOME environment variable is set. If set, APTIMPORTEXPORTHOME must be set to a local (non-network) directory for the Open Import Project and New Import Project menu choices to be available. If APTIMPORTEXPORTHOME is not set, the Update button on this dialog box is not available.
Configuration Directory: (using APTIMPORTEXPORTHOME) — The location of your Arbortext Import Configuration Directory. This location is the value of the APTIMPORTEXPORTHOME environment variable if it is set. If APTIMPORTEXPORTHOME is not set, this is the HOME\importexport\config.
Status of Configuration Directory — Shows the status of your Arbortext Import configuration. If the configuration has any conditions that may lead to failures when importing documents, this status will recommend changes to the configuration.
Repository Directory — Specifies the location of the Import Repository Directory. This location can be a network location. You must be able to save files to this location.
Update — Updates your configuration with any changes. The configuration cannot be updated if any of the following conditions exist:
The Configuration Directory is a network location.
Neither the HOME nor APTIMPORTEXPORTHOME environment variables is defined.
A Repository Directory is not specified.
The Configuration Directory and the Repository Directory are the same path.
Cancel — Closes the dialog box without updating the Arbortext Import configuration.
