Change Tracking Dialog Box
You can dock Change Tracking or you can let it float in front of the document. To dock it, click on the title bar and drag it to the top or bottom of the Edit window. Refer to Change Tracking Overview for information.
If more than one user makes changes to the same area, you may not be able to accept or reject some individual changes. This happens most often when additions or deletions from different users overlap or are surrounded. Refer to Limitations of Change Tracking for information.
Change Record
Provides information about the current proposed change being reviewed. It displays the owner's name, date, time, and type of change made. You can take the following actions:
Accept applies the selected proposed change to the baseline document.
Reject removes the selected proposed change from the document.
Accept All applies all proposed changes into the baseline document.
Reject All removes all proposed changes from the document.
You can undo accepted or rejected changes (including Accept All and Reject All) by choosing on the Edit toolbar or choosing Edit > Undo.

Options
Enable change tracking by checking Track Changes, or clear it to disable change tracking.
Choose the view of the document you want displayed in the Edit window. (These are the same choices available from View > Change Tracking.)
Changes with Highlighting – Displays the document with proposed changes highlighted with revision marks. Deleted text and markup appear in strikethrough font; inserted text and markup appear in underlined font. Changes for each user are displayed in the user's color.
Changes Applied – Displays the document with proposed changes applied to the document.
Original – Displays the document without any proposed changes. This view is read-only, reflects the baseline document, and includes any previously accepted changes.
You can also choose from these change tracking views in the File > Print and File > Publish dialog boxes.
Advanced opens Advanced Change Tracking Options. You can choose whether to Open the change tracking dialog box automatically when change tracking is enabled. You can also choose whether to expand a collapsed element that contains a proposed change when you search, whether to add a background highlight for each user's changes, and whether to display each user's changes in a specific color.
You can display and print proposed changes in the Edit window by clicking Advanced in Change Tracking. In the Advanced Change Tracking Options, check the box to Display with user specific colors. User-specific colors will be used in the Edit window, print, and published output.
You can set your user color in User Information under Tools > Preferences. However, if that color is too similar to another color already assigned to a user who has revised the document, Arbortext Editor will assign a different color for you while editing the current document. In Advanced Change Tracking Options, you can change a user's Full Name and Color for the current document. Only 10 colors are considered visually distinct. A user color applies only to the current document. For information on how user color is determined, refer to Using Change Tracking.
