Editing in the Edit View
In this view, the Document Map is not displayed. This view is preferred by some authors for adding new content. The advantage to this view is that the relationship between content and tags is most obvious. Most content resides between a pair of tags. You can split the window to show different parts of the same document or different documents.
The disadvantage to using this view is that little of the structure of the document is visible. You can still add and rearrange structure in this view, but some might not find it as easy as doing so in the Document Map where much more of the document's structure can be seen.
