Inserting a Plain Text File into a Document
You can easily insert a file with no SGML or XML markup, such as a word processing file saved as a text (ASCII) file, into your document. If you insert an ASCII file, Arbortext Editor will process it as invalid markup, and you can add markup to format the document as needed. If the ASCII file contains SGML or XML markup in ASCII form, replace it by inserting appropriate markup.
1. Place the cursor at the insert location. Be sure text is allowed there.
2. Choose Insert > File.
3. Choose the desired file from the Insert File dialog box.
4. Click on OK. The text is inserted into the document at the cursor location.
