PVZ
Format type — intelligent graphic.
Operating systems — Windows.
The PVZ format is a compressed zip file that stores a ProductView Structure. The zip file contains PVS or ED product structures, OL viewable CAD parts, and other data files. The PVZ file can also contain views, which are saved, custom versions of an intelligent graphic. Animations and sequences of steps associated with a graphic’s views are also supported.
The format is intended for use by the Creo View and Creo View Express applications. PVZ files can be displayed and manipulated in a web browser through a PTC plugin. Arbortext Editor also has the capability to manipulate the display of and to publish 3D PVZ graphics.
You can double click a PVZ file in Arbortext Editor to open it for edit. If the PVZ has a linked C3DI file, the C3DI will open in Creo Illustrate. For more information, see Editing an Intelligent Graphic.
