• Name — Provide a name for the new entity. This name will appear in the File Entities dialog box, the Insert Markup dialog box, and the file entity markup icon.

• File name — Provide the path and file name if the file entity is located on your system. You can use a file:// or http:// URL.

• Public ID — Provide a public identifier name for your file entity. Use a public ID to identify a file entity located in an area common to a variety of systems, and Arbortext Editor will attempt to match this path by searching all catalog files in the current catalog path list.

• Subdocument — (SGML documents only.) Check this box to make this file entity a subdocument.
