Understanding the Document Template
Your new document appears in the Edit view as a template with a set of element tags.
This template serves as a starting point for your new document. To indicate a new unnamed document, Document1 appears in the title bar. Notice that the template contains markup.
The tags represent part of the overall structure for the document you chose. You might think of these tags as marking parts of a form to fill out. Writing a document involves typing text inside existing tags as well as inserting new tags and text.
