Split View
You can split the Arbortext Editor window to have access to more than one view of your document. This is helpful when cutting and pasting from one part of a document to another. A horizontal or vertical bar separates the two panes of a split window. Dragging this bar resizes the views.
To split the Edit window, in the Window menu:
1. Click Left-Right Split or Top-Bottom Split.
*
When you click Left-Right Split, the window is split with the Document Map or Column view automatically displayed in one pane (as specified in the Preferences dialog box) and the Edit view in the opposite pane. When you click Top-Bottom Split, the same view of the document is shown in both the top and bottom panes.
2. Click No Split to return to a single view.
