When errors occur during a publishing process that uses an XSL stylesheet or a FOSI with profiling, an Event Log window displays after the process finishes or terminates. This window contains a series of messages.

The Event Log window displays information for all publishing processes that use XSL stylesheets or FOSIs with profiling during the current Arbortext Editor session. The results of each publishing process are appended to the content from previous publishing processes. Typically, the contents are collapsed except those from the most recent publishing process.

You can save publishing log files as .xml files, and open them in Arbortext Editor. When you open them in Arbortext Editor, these files display and behave as an Event Log window.
