The Cursor
The cursor is a small image on your screen that marks the active location in your document. It is the insertion point where you enter text and insert markup. If more than one window is open, such as a Preview window and a Help window, the active window receives the action from the keyboard or menus. If you want to use the Arbortext Editor command line to enter commands, you need to place the cursor at the Arbortext Editor command line.
Within an Edit window pane, you can move the cursor with either the mouse or the arrow keys. Move the cursor between panes of a split window and the Arbortext Editor command line using the F6 key.

Pointer sensitivity may vary from computer to computer. If the cursor does not appear in the expected location when you click the mouse, try pointing to a place a little to the right or left of the desired location.
