Setting Publish Profiles
After you have applied profiles to the elements in your document, you can display and publish the document for a given audience or purpose based on your profiles. Do so by clicking on the Set Profiles button in the various publishing dialog boxes.
Keep the following points in mind when setting your publish profile:
You are choosing profiles to include in the published document.
If you specify a profile for a given profile class, elements that have no applied profile for that profile class will still appear in the published document. Only those elements that have a conflicting applied profile for that profile class will be excluded.
Selecting multiple profiles for a profile publishes elements with either profile. For example, if you include the profiles Windows 2000 and Windows NT in your publish profile, Arbortext Editor will include those elements whose applied profile includes either the Windows 2000 profile or the Windows NT profile.
Selecting profiles from multiple profile classes publishes only those elements with each of the applied profile values. For example, setting an Operating System profile of Windows 2000 and a Security profile of Customer would publish elements with applied profiles that include both the Windows 2000 and Customer profiles.
