Checking for Errors
Arbortext Editor has two menu commands that check for errors in an already loaded (parsed) document.
Check Completeness
Tools > Check Completeness
Check Completeness checks your entire document, including entities, to ensure that it contains valid markup. When you run Check Completeness, Arbortext Editor will display the errors and their locations in the instance.

If you have applied an alias map to your document, the element names in the panel will be aliases.
Context Rules
Tools > Context Rules
When Context Rules are turned ON or enabled, Arbortext Editor checks every element to ensure compliance with the document type. Arbortext Editor will not allow any non-compliant element in your document when Context Rules are turned on. However, upon closing the document, Arbortext Editor will alert you to any incomplete elements.
