This environment variable is deprecated in release 5.4, as Arbortext Editor always loads the JVM at startup. If you do not want the JVM to load at startup, use the -nojvm option to the editor startup command.

Use APTJAVAINIT to specify whether Arbortext Editor should load the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) at startup. Normally, Arbortext Editor does load the JVM at startup. If you want Arbortext Editor to load the JVM at startup, set APTJAVAINIT to yes.
