Font Configuration Files and Environment Variables
This table lists a selection of the font and character set configuration files with their default locations and associated environment variables.
If you are using a language locale, the chs, cht, jpn, and kor of the Arbortext-path\lib\locale subdirectories contain locale-specific versions of tfmfont.cf, tfontsub.cf, wfontsub.cf and pubview.fnt. If these files exist, they will be used instead of the ones in Arbortext-path\lib.
If you customize any of the font or character set configuration files listed, you can make your custom file automatically accessible. Copy the file from the original location, make the customizations, and then place it in the appropriate subdirectory of the Arbortext-path\custom directory. Arbortext Editor will load it automatically upon startup (and you can avoid manual steps such as setting an environment variable). If you are editing a locale-specific file, you can put it in the appropriate locale-name subdirectory of Arbortext-path\custom\lib\locale. .
Arbortext-path is the location where Arbortext Editor is installed.
