Arbortext Command Language > set Command Options > set tablewriteemptycellmarkup

set tablewriteemptycellmarkup
set tablewriteemptycellmarkup= { on | off}
Arbortext Editor creates table cells which contain

tag pairs. However, Arbortext Editor can edit tables with tables cells not containing

tag pairs created by other applications.
When tablewriteemptycellmarkup is set to off, Arbortext Editor omits the empty

tag pairs when saving such a document. (Certain other circumstances, described in Handling empty table cells, can cause Arbortext Editor to include the tags when saving the document.)
When tablewriteemptycellmarkup is set to on, Arbortext Editor saves the empty entry elements in the document.
The default setting for tablewriteemptycellmarkup is off.
