With Arbortext Editor, you can easily see all references in your document, including file entities and XML inclusions. These references are unique identifier attributes that enable you, for example, to cross-reference graphics, tables, and entities in other areas of your document. A dialog box lists all declared and referenced IDs in your document, with error and reference count data.

To see these references with their identifiers, either select Tools > IDs and ID References from the menu bar or enter the show ids command. The IDs and ID References dialog box appears containing all of the references in both your document and any included file entities and inclusions.
