Inserting Printers’ Marks in Print Output
You may elect to insert printers’ marks in your print output at the time of publishing.
Crop marks - crop marks appear at the corners of document pages and indicate where a page should be cropped.
*
When the text area of the page plus the margin size equal the size of paper being used, no crop marks will be visible. This is because the paper is already cut, or cropped, to the specified dimensions.
Date mark header - a header containing information about the print action, placed at the top of the page, outside the content area
Registration marks - registration marks appear in the center edges of a document’s pages and indicate the point at which color separations should be aligned.
The table below gives a summary of the print engines that support this information in print output:

1 When publishing with printers’ marks via APP, page size will increase to allow the marks to be visible. You must print on a larger paper size than the set page size if you wish to see the printers’ marks in output. The size of the page content area will not change.

1. Choose File > Print.
2. In the Print dialog box, refer to the Options field to see all the print setup options. Click the relevant check box(es) to request the required marks.
