Using .tmx Files
You can use .tmx files to load custom macros, program fixes, or other customizations into Arbortext Editor. .tmx files can be associated with the Arbortext Editor installation, document types, and documents.
Arbortext Editor installation — The installation-specific .tmx file must be named custom.tmx. If you put a custom version of this file in Arbortext-path\custom\inputs, it will be automatically loaded at startup.
Document types — The document type .tmx file should have the same name as the DTD, and be saved in the same directory as the DTD. This file will load when you open the associated document type.
*
It is not necessary to recompile the document type to access the .tmx files.
Documents — The document .tmx file should have the same name as the document, and be saved in the same directory as the document. This file will load when you open the associated document.
*
If you have both a document .tmx file and a document type .tmx file, Arbortext Editor will load the document type .tmx file before the document .tmx file.
