The ALD User Interface > ALD's Operating Modes > Document Mode

Document Mode
Document Mode can be activated by executing the td macro or clicking the relevant button on the Modes toolbar (see ALD’s Operating Modes for details):
This view provides graphical representation of the pages contained in the document. Pages can be manually reordered here using a drag and drop process. Other information can also be found in this window, depending on the settings or setup of the document:
Thumbnail previews: as a default the pages in this display only display their numbers. Thumbnail previews of the content of each page are activated and configured when you select the Thumbnail previews option using right-mouse click or the tdthumb macro. It should be noted, however, that setting page previews of this type will drastically slow the PTC ALD format and draw process.
Tags: a list of the tags contained in the document, with their set properties detailed.
Master page: if a page is the master page of a document (i.e. the template from which subsequent pages can be copied via an autocopy action), it will be marked with a "M" next to its number.

The letters "MA" signify that the master page is controlled by a document control sequence.
Copied page: if a page has been copied from a master page via an autocopy action, it will be marked with a "C" next to its number.

The letters "CA" signify that the copied pages are controlled by a document control sequence.
Page freeze: pages in this view will be marked with red brackets if their position in the document has been frozen via the tfreeze macro.
