Description
Specifies the maximum distance across the equation 'measure' at which the second relation in an equation can appear before it is designated as a split point instead of an alignment point. The default value of this property is 0%, which signifies that the second relation is always treated as a split point. A user defined percentage can be specified, however: up to the user defined percentage of the measure, the relation is used as an alignment point; at any point after the user defined percentage a split will occur at the relation and it will align with a previous relation, if one is present.
 
The equation 'measure' used for this command is the amount of space left for the equation after any margins, surrounding spaces and (optionally) the equation number have been taken into account.
 
Example 393. Set the value at which to align on second relation in a maths equation
The macro below will align the equation on the second relation as long as it is in the first half of the measure available to the equation:
