ALD's Operating Modes
The PTC ALD work area shows different aspects of a document depending on the operating mode that has been selected. The types of task that can be carried out for a document are also defined depending on the current operating mode.
Operating modes can be chosen from toolbars that you can access from > > , or from any of the following toolbars if you are setting up a customized window display:

• big_main
PTC ALD runs four distinct operating modes, each one being defined separately in the following sections:
Document Mode
Page/Frame Mode
Text Mode
Graphics Mode
