Additional Information
Yakumono is the name for a class of Japanese characters which includes brackets, punctuation and other symbols. These characters have the option of being set half width or full width when used in text.
In general the squash to fit Yakumono options will only be applied to prevent Kinsoku characters from being carried over to the next line. Turn on the Always Squash to Fit option for squashing to happen when attempting to fit in other characters.

Using countback may result in letter spacing being added, because the line was squashed too far.
