Search Tab
Once you have performed a search in the Search frame, the results are displayed on the Search tab . This tab contains a list of documents that match your search query.
You can sort your search results by either relevance or by the position of the document in the table of contents with the Sorted by drop down list on the Search tab. If you view the search results by relevance, each result has a brief excerpt from the beginning of the document below the search result. Search terms are highlighted in the excerpt.
Click on the search result document link to open the associated document in the View frame. Each search term in an HTML document is highlighted by default, and you can navigate through the document using the search terms. For PDF documents, search results link to the page in the PDF document containing the search term(s).
Search Term Highlighting
Terms you enter in the Search field are highlighted in HTML documents displayed from the Search tab. If you enter multiple search terms, each term in a search result document is highlighted in a different color. The Help Center supports highlighting for up to ten search terms.
You can also navigate through an HTML document using the highlighted search terms. To navigate forwards through the search terms, either click on a term or press the TAB key. To navigate backwards through the search terms, either hold down the CTRL key and click on the term or press the SHIFT+TAB keys.
You can customize search term highlighting on the Configuration tab.
