The Performance Advisor Agent (PA Agent) provides a single transport agent for PTC Arbortext Content Delivery. To enable and configure PTC Arbortext Content Delivery with the Performance Advisor (PA), you must install the PA Agent on every PTC Arbortext Content Delivery server. The PA Agent enables the actual reporting and sending of the data to PTC's remote PA environment.

PTC Arbortext Content Delivery Performance Advisor generates data that is related to Core, CoreCMi, publisher jboss, data directory, deployments, and so on from the PTC Arbortext Content Delivery. For Publisher, we have one common directory, for example, D:\ptc\Data\Work\PA. This path is common for Core, CoreCMI PA path (for publisher here). For Viewer, we have another common directory, for example, D:\ptc\Data\Work\PA. This path is common for Core, CoreCMI, and viewer jboss PA path(For publisher here). Ideally, to collect and send the data from Publisher and viewer, you must have two different instances of the PA agent, one for publisher and one for viewer. The PA agent must be configured by giving the exact path of PA reports.
