Configuring the Replicated v3–compliant LDAP
Two or more instances of LDAP could be configured to contain the same data and replicate changes to other servers in the replication configuration.

PTC Arbortext Content Delivery supports LDAP replication. For replicating your LDAP, refer your respective LDAP documentation. The ownership and responsibility of maintaining the LDAP solution, replication, or migrating the user data to any LDAP solution lies entirely with the customer.

To configure LDAP, perform the following steps:
1. Install a standalone LDAP on a machine.
2. You must use the same port that is used for LDAP (Publisher or Viewers) for replication and for the standalone LDAP. That is, the ports must be same for the primary and replicated servers.
3. On the Configurator UI, in the LDAP entity mention the Backup Server Host Name and ports.
4. Restart the servers.
