PTC Arbortext Content Delivery search default configuration has been updated to exclude out of context (standalone) Part results from the search page, while keeping the same context part relation intact. The newly introduced configuration retires the need of using the Non-Searchable Information Types or Default Excluded Information Types User Interface preferences, for the purpose of hiding Parts from the search results page.

If you want the search to return (standalone) Parts results irrespective of its context, you could disable this new configuration by setting the ExcludeStandaloneParts property back to false, from setup.properties file.
