In addition to bundles published from the content authored in Windchill Service Information Manager, you can also TAL bundles containing third party content, such as bills of material.

Bill of material information is contained in BOM bundles. A BOM provides the as-shipped invoices for a product that can be displayed in PTC Arbortext Content Delivery. The BOM information conforms to the BOM template and is contained in a file named BOM.xml.

Following is an excerpt from the BUNDLE.mf file that identifies a BOM bundle:

The Bundle-Category setting in the file identifies this as a BOM bundle.

A BOM bundle might also contain a file named excludedObjects.xml. This file identifies any information that needs to be deleted from the BOM during TAL.

Before you TAL a BOM bundle, make sure that the PH information is already loaded into PTC Arbortext Content Delivery.
