Supported Data Types
The XML definitions supported in PTC Arbortext Content Delivery for various business objects are referred to as Data Types. Currently, the following data types are supported:
• PH – Product Hierarchy
• PI – Product Instance
• IS – Information Structure
• PS – Publication Structure
• PartsList – Parts List
• IEXML – IE XML
• PDFM – PDF Data
There are two types of PDF files: Graphic Dynamic Documents (GDD) and WTDocument files. Both of these types are indexed and treated the same by the system.
• WTDocuments – Windchill documents
WTDocuments that are not PDF should be loaded as IEGraphic.
• GRAPHICS
• IEGraphic – A graphic attached to an IS
• PARTS
• BOM – Product instance (BOM)
• PARTRELATIONS (such as supersession, cross-reference, and so forth)
• DOCRELATIONS – Support of Generic IEs
• GE – Support for Group Effectivity.
• SYMPTOMS – Support for service symptoms
