Book Generation for Update and Upgrade Server
Book generation may not work for the Update and Upgrade server, though it works fine for a freshly installed server. To overcome this issue, perform the following steps:
1. Navigate to the <DATA>\Data\corePublications.xml file.
2. Search for the Publication xml element with ID=”PrintServer”.
3. Change value of the attribute DataConfigFile to <SW>\SW\Config\Applications\PrintServer\Config\Core\indexData.xml.
4. Change value of the attribute SoftwareConfigFile to <SW>\SW\Config\Applications\PrintServer\Config\Core\indexSoftware.xml.

Ensure that you mention the absolute file path in the above two attributes.

5. Restart the services.
