This section includes information on how to to customize the information elements that are available in the Profiles utility.

The list of information types provided in the Profiles utility is derived from the types defined in the facets.xml. Certain types are excluded from the list. See #./InfoElements_Excluded for the list of excluded information types.

If you want to change the default list, to add a new type or change an existing label, you must edit the facets.xml configuration file. For example if you wanted to change the label of the Part and Parts List element or remove it from the list you must modify the Parts List type attributes in the facets.xml file.

These elements are currently available in the list of elements that can be excluded.
