All resource providers (Java-based or Script-based) have a configuration table called Resource Attribute Mapping Configuration. Each row maps a normalized attribute of the resource to its original attribute in the connected system. By default, every attribute of the resource is mapped to the same attribute in the connected system.

Any editable resource provider’s attribute mapping configuration table can also be modified manually on a resource provider thing in the ThingWorx Composer to either customize the mapping or add more custom attributes for a specific connected system instance.
