Ground Transportation Information
Transportation from the airport to PTC is only available for corporate executives and customers. Other corporate employees will need to arrange their own transportation. There are several ways to arrange transportation from either Pudong airport or Hongqiao airport:
The Maglev High Speed Train from Pudong International Airport to Longyang Road Metro Station takes eight minutes. The train operates from 7am to 9pm daily. One way economy fare costs RMB50 (USD7). It takes approximately 15min from Longyang Road Metro Station to PTC by taxis; fare is generally 30 RMB (USD4).
Taxi and city shuttle buses can be found on the ground floor of the domestic and international arrival halls. Taxis are metered, and fare between Pudong International Airport and PTC generally costs around RMB150 (USD20) per journey, while fares from Shanghai Hongqiao Airport are generally RMB60 (USD8).
Some of the hotels offer airport pick-up services. To arrange for an airport pick-up service, guests need to provide their flight carrier, flight number and estimated time of arrival when contacting the hotel by phone. Normally, the guests are requested to book transportation at least two days in advance. PTC is located approximately 35 minutes from Shanghai Hongqiao Airport and 50 minutes from Pudong International Airport. However, the times vary depending on the traffic.
