Saving View Orientations You can use the View Manager dialog box to create and edit saved view orientations.  The view manager is also used to create Simplified Reps, Style Reps, Explode States, and Cross Sections.

Task 4-1. Create a saved orientation on the ENGINE_BLOCK.prt using the View Manager.

1. Click Open from the main toolbar, select ENGINE_BLOCK.PRT, and click Open.
2. Orient the model as shown in the following figure.

3. Start the View Manager from the main toolbar.
   1. Select the Orient tab then click New.
   2. Type 3D as the name and press ENTER.
   3. Click Close from the View Manager dialog box.
4. Click Saved View List from the main toolbar.
   1. Notice 3D is available and select Standard Orientation.
5. Click Window > Close .
