Description
Assembly Features in Dynamic CAD Structures
Assembly Features in Dynamic Part Structures
Yes
No
Enables visualization of assembly features in dynamic CAD or part structures.
Flexible Assembly Features in Dynamic CAD Structures
Flexible Assembly Features in Dynamic Part Structures
Yes
No
Enables visualization of assembly features in their alternate location in dynamic CAD or Part structures as dictated by their parent assemblies.
CAD Represented Parts in Dynamic Part Structures
Options are provided and updated by the Administrator.
Set groups to use for identifying parts as CAD Represented Parts.
Levels to Expand in Dynamic CAD Structures
Levels to Expand in Dynamic Part Structures
These two preferences control the expansion of the dynamic structure. The structure is generated to a specified number of levels deep, and then you can interactively expand assemblies as needed.
All—Expands the entire structure.
All Assemblies—Expands the structure initially down to the leaf parts. The leaf parts themselves are branch links. This loads the structure more quickly than an All expansion, displaying all the structure hierarchy without the geometry loaded. You can load the geometry that you require afterwards.
1 to 10—Expands the structure to the number of levels set in this option.
If an assembly feature is present within a structure, and the Assembly Features in Dynamic CAD Structures or Assembly Features in Dynamic Part Structures preference is enabled, and this incremental level expansion is set to All Assemblies or n, a branch link is inserted in the structure for the assembly, and the assembly features are displayed correctly in the structure. All objects below this assembly are expanded.
*
Filtering that was preset is taken into account.
Show Unplaced Components in Dynamic Part Structures
Yes
No
Dynamic structure loads geometry for the unplaced component.
Dynamic structure does not load geometry for unplaced component, instead it loads the default representation of the parent. However, the property edrload.dynamicpartstructure.loadparentforunplacedchildren must be set to true.
Interference units of measure for display
Millimeters*
Meters
Decimeters
Centimeters
Feet
Inches
Set the units of measure for an Interference Detection Definition.
List Representation File Extension Types
PDF*
A comma-separated list which specifies the file extension types that can be downloaded for a representation in the representation list, for example, PDF, JPEG, PNG.
ALL—All representation secondary content not currently excluded by the webpage.alwaysexcludelistrepfiletypes property.
The representation secondary content file types that can be viewed in the representation RMB Files menu.
*
This preference only controls the display of the secondary content files on the representation, and does not have any effect on the display of Additional File Types.
Loading Creo View Data
Load files as needed*
Load all related files as a single PVZ file
How to load files from Windchill into Creo View.
Preferred Fidelity
Fidelity options are provided and updated by the Administrator.
Specify the fidelity of representations to use for actions such as opening the representation in Creo View and saving.
Preferred Fidelity for Visualization Tab
Fidelity options are provided and updated by the Administrator.
Specify the fidelity of representations to use when opening a representation on the Visualization tab.
Share Representations and Markups
Yes*
No
The access control rules that are added to the representable at the time of a share are also added to the existing representations that are associated to that representable.
View Thumbnails in 3D
Yes*
No
Specify the thumbnail type to display. When this preference is set to Yes, thumbnails on the details page and the thumbnail navigator are displayed in 3D, otherwise in 2D.
