Integration with Creo Illustrate
The general mechanism for managing 3D source data in Windchill for use in Creo Illustrate leverages on the creation of an illustration source file (PVZ). From the source CAD data, Windchill post publishes a 1st order object (source file) that is stored in Windchill. Creo Illustrate will link to this post-published source file. The Creo Illustrate file and the published output are checked into Windchill. The Creo IllustrateWindchill connection is managed through the Creo Illustrate UI with the Direct Connection. The Windchill side configuration is handled through the Windchill Visualization Services.
Creo Illustrate can also integrate with Windchill Service Parts Lists and Windchill Manufacturing Process Plans. For more information, see Overview of Creo Illustrate Integration with Windchill Service Information Manager and Windchill Service Parts and Installation and Setup for MPMLink - Creo Illustrate Integration.
