Windchill Nonconformance Roles
Windchill Nonconformance provides default roles for nonconformance users. Based on the roles you are assigned, you can perform different tasks and actions. However, all nonconformance users can access nonconformance tasks in read-only mode. Tasks appear in your My Tasks table.
Permission levels for nonconformance users are defined by an administrator. If you are an administrator, you can manage nonconformance roles in the Members table. For more information, see Members Table.
Nonconformance records often require authorizations, reviews, and signatures. The number and types of approvers, the order in which they review the record, and other aspects of the routing are configurable. The default configuration provided by Windchill Nonconformance contains approvals for the following tasks:
Intake
Evaluation
Investigation (optional)
Disposition Plan
Review by Material Review Board (optional)
Disposition
Disposition Action Completion (Rework, Return, Scrap, and Use As Is)
