Edit Attributes
The Edit Attributes dialog box allows you to edit attributes for the selected object. From the Structure tab, you can display the Edit Attributes dialog box by choosing Edit > Edit Attributes from the Editing action set or from the shortcut menu.
The Edit Attributes window displays structure object details.

If your site has organizations configured, you see an organization identifier, such as Organization ID or CAGE Code. For more information, see Owning Organization Participants.
The attributes that are displayed can differ from those listed here and can include additional custom attributes.
If you are editing structural objects, you can see the following in the Attributes box:

Description
The current description is displayed in the authoring language. Description appears in the authoring language, and its value must be specified in the authoring language.
Default Content Location
Specify the default location where content referenced by this object is stored. Changing this location affects future content added to this object.
Authoring Language
Displays the authoring language for the object. This attribute can’t be changed.
If you are editing attributes for an information group or publication section, you see the Publishing Attributes box:

Apply title from content
If set to Yes, the title is derived from the associated content.
Applicable to textual information elements and publication sections.
Exclude content from output
If set to Yes, the content does not appear in generated output.
Applicable to publication sections, information groups, and all types of content holders.
Exclude title from Table of Contents
If set to Yes, the title does not appear in the table of contents of the generated output.
Applicable to publication sections, information groups, and all types of content holders.
After updating the attribute values, you can choose from the following actions:
Save
Saves the changes that you have made and automatically checks out the selected object.
Check In
Accepts the changes, checks in the structure object and closes the dialog box.
Cancel
Cancels all changes and closes the dialog box.
