Project Attributes
In addition to common attributes, the following attributes are available from the Details page for a project or program:
Budget
An exact or estimated monetary amount allotted to the project.
Business Unit
The division or department that best describes the realm of this project.
Category
The business category that best describes this project. Categories can later be used when sorting or filtering a large number of projects.
Identify out-of-sync shared objects
When applicable, the out-of-sync sharing indicator is visible in the Folder Contents table. A shared object is out of sync when the source object is changed and considered outdated per the sharing filter criteria.
Objects can be shared to a project from other projects and programs, as well as from libraries and products. For more information, see Exchanging Data Between Contexts.
Last Auto-Synchronized
If your project has scheduled synchronization enabled for shared objects, this field displays the last time the project was automatically synchronized. Manual synchronization operations do not affect this field.

Number
A number that uniquely identifies a project.
You can modify this number to match the common practices of your company. For example, you might reference an organization number used in a financial reporting system.
Owner
The user who is responsible for the successful execution of a project. By default, this is the creator, but you can select a different owner from within the organization at the time of project creation or by editing the project. Adding a non-team member as the owner automatically adds that user to the team.
Phase
The maturity of the project. Indicating a phase is purely informational and is not linked to any specific capabilities or access control features.
Private Access
Defines who can view and access the project:
Default—Applies the default access settings configured for your organization.
Project Members Only—The project can only be viewed and accessed by team members.
Scope
A brief description of the scope of the project. Scope statements commonly specify:
What is included in the effort?
What is not included in the effort?
What is the process for implementing changes to products or work that is included in the effort?
Sharing Enabled
Indicates that data located in the project is available to other projects and programs. For more information, see Sharing Between Projects.
Sharing Filter
The sharing filter specifies the preferred configuration for objects shared to the project, and therefore determines when a shared object is indicated as out of sync. Click the sharing filter name to open a window with the following information:
Type and Details—Indicates the types of configuration specifications used in the filter and details about the filter selections.
Apply to top level object—If selected, the filter is applied to the top-level object in the structure.
Apply latest for unresolved dependents—If selected, the Latest filter is applied to any objects that do not match the primary filter criteria.
If a filter is not specified, then the default filter is used. The default filter exclusively specifies the Latest configuration specification. You can select a different sharing filter by editing the project attributes.
For more information, see Sharing Filters and Exchanging Data Between Contexts.

Running
The project has been started and invitations have been sent to team members.
Suspended
The project has been temporarily removed from the active list.
Canceled
The project has been permanently removed from the active list, but project data is still available to team members.
Completed
The project has been completed.
For more information, see Project States.
Status
Status is indicated based on the following color codes:
Green—Indicates that there are no risks or obstacles; ready to proceed.
Yellow—Indicates caution; check before proceeding.
Red—Indicates an alert of high risk; do not proceed.
Unavailable—The status is not set.
The overall status of a project is defined by the status of the plan. For more information, see Project States.
Synchronization User
The user for whom the scheduled synchronization is performed. By default, this is the project owner.
Only objects to which the user has the required permissions are synchronized. Objects that are not included in the automatic synchronization can still be manually updated by a user with appropriate access.
For more information, see Scheduled Synchronization.

Your company might define additional templates that are unique to your business processes. For more information, see About Context Templates.
