Starting the Execution of a Change Notice
Full track change notices are those with a high impact and cost, such change notices require close analysis and review. Full track changes must pass through the Change Implementation Board (CIB) prior to implementation. Once approved by CIB, the change notice enters in the Pending Implementation state. The user should start the execution of the change notice to implement the changes.
Click Start Execution from the actions list on information pages of change notices.
*
In case of redlines, the change notice can not be started when any of the redlines are still checked out. Any redline that is still marked as a Suspect will not prevent the execution of the change notice starting.
As the change notice starts its execution, the Actual Start Date will be set and all redlines that have not been previously approved will become approved.
You should manually set the state in the Pending Implementation state field in the Type and Attribute Management utility of the change notice.
