Creating a New Data Sheet Dynamic Document
You can create a new data sheet dynamic document that allows you to manage calculation data as a primary object.
To create a new data sheet dynamic document
1. Click File > New > Data. The New Data Document page appears.
2. Accept existing values or select new values in the following fields
:
Product—By default, the system populates the field with the context of your current workspace.
Type—Select Dynamic Document (or one of the available subtypes). Depending on the available types at your site, Dynamic Document may already be selected for you.
File—Click Browse to navigate to the content file.
Name—The system assigns a default name for the new data dynamic document that is the name of the selected content file. You can enter a different name.
Number—If auto-numbering is enabled at your site, the system provides a value. If auto-numbering is turned off, you are not able to create a data dynamic document in this user interface.
Organization ID—If this field is enabled at your site, you can use the Browse functionality to find an organization ID.
Location—Select either Autoselect Folder (system sets the storage folder to the current context) or Select Folder (you can enter a path or browse to a folder location) to set a storage location for the object.
3. Click OK. The new data sheet dynamic document is created and appears listed in the workspace from which you initiated the creation. Its object subtype is Calculation Data.
