Configuration Context Information Page
The configuration context information page is a collection point for information related to the configuration context. You access the information page by clicking the information icon in any table row in Windchill where a configuration context is shown. From the information page, you can perform actions on a configuration context, as well as view the object attributes and other related information.
Actions
Information pages contain a list of applicable actions in a menu next to the object identification line. The availability of some actions depends on the status of the configuration context, as well as your access permissions.

The following actions are of particular interest for a configuration context.
Action
Description
Open in Creo View
Opens a Creo View session showing images for all parts in the configuration context.
Refresh Context
Creates a new iteration of the configuration context containing the part versions selected by the latest rules displayed in the Rules tab.

Update Variant Specification
Opens a window where you can select a version of the variant specification to update for the configuration context. This window lists the latest iteration of all the revision for the associated variant specification, from where you can select the variant specification version to associate with the configuration context.
Remove Variant Specification
Removes the associated variant specification from the configuration context. As a result,
The configurable structure baseline and variant baseline configuration specifications are removed from the configuration context.
The option filter becomes editable.
The ad hoc filter does not apply anymore.

This tab contains a viewable image and attributes that describe the configuration context.

The following attributes are unique to a configuration context:
The Context Part is the top level assembly from which a configuration context is created. Its structure uses all the parts that are required in the configuration context.
The Design Context field contains the name, number and version of the design context created from the configuration context.
Structure
The structure tab shows the parts that have been included in the configuration context with a group of actions that may be performed in the toolbar at the top of the part structure. The right side of the structure tab has sub-tabs labeled Attributes, Visualization, and Rules.
