Introduction to Publisher Queues and Jobs
WVS Jobs represent a single WVS processing request for publishing Creo View Representations of CAD and Microsoft Office documents, for performing complex Interference Detection queries in the background or sending Batch Printing requests to specific printers throughout your organization. The WVS Queues are, therefore, of fundamental importance to the optimum functioning of your Windchill Visualization Services Publishing mechanism.
When installed, WVS automatically creates three prioritized waiting queues, where jobs wait to be processed, and one publishing queue where the processing is executed. For example, for a Publish Job, WVS creates the following queues:
Three prioritized waiting queues:
PublisherQueueH
PublisherQueueM
PublisherQueueL
One processing queue:
PublisherQueue1
This is the default Queue Set and the Publisher Queue names contain no embedded Set Name.
For more background information on Windchill Processing Queues, refer to Tech support knowledge base article CS149619
For a run-through of the steps involved in the publishing process, see General Publishing Process.

WVS also creates similar Queue Sets for processing Clash and Print Jobs. For example, PublisherQueueCLASHH, M, L, 1 and PublisherQueuePRINTH, M, L, 1 respectively.
WVS offers the following configuration options for Publisher Jobs:
To increase processing speed, you can configure additional numbered processing queues.
To determine the order in which jobs are processed, you can configure the relative prioritization of the WVS jobs sent for publishing based on its type and source.
To separately manage how different categories of publish jobs are processed, you can dedicate specific Publisher Queue Sets, Worker Sets or both.
