Windchill CAPA Action Confirmations
In the Confirmation state, the CAPA confirmer is responsible for confirming the corrective action measures. The Confirmation state is optional and appears if the CAPA planner requested a confirmation task in the Plan state. This state helps eliminate action failures resulting from poor or failed implementations of the corrective action. Once the CAPA confirmer approves the corrective action measures, the CAPA moves to the Effectiveness state and, if specified, to the Plan state. If no effectiveness is required, the CAPA is then completed.
